One of the best products that have graced my hands to this day. Initially, I was torn between these and a set of MIP drivers but ultimately decided on these because they were a little more aesthetically pleasing. I was half tempted to buy the $300 limited edition complete toolset but opted for the cheaper individual items like this to fit my needs. I’ve run electric for a couple of years so I’ve already built up my toolbox. This was a much-need upgrade to replace my old set of drivers that have served me well. Pros: Aesthetically pleasing Lightweight Premium quality feel Driver size can easily be identified by the silver rings on the bottom of the handle Decent grip Cons Tips not magnetize (which is an easy fix) The nut that holds the tip in place may require an additional 1/4 turn to properly secure it in place.
New tip broke rather quickly. Might be good for $5. One more hudy
mine is two years old and the tip is as good as new. I would buy again , but it hasnt broke as yet. :)
Lasted three months. You expect when paying so much for a single tool, it should last at least a couple of years. Very disappointed.
Four reviews of the Hudy Limited Edition Metric Allen Wrench (1.5mm) show a split view. Reviewers praise its aesthetics, lightweight feel, premium quality impression, clear size marking by silver rings on the handle, and decent grip. One long-term owner reports a two-year-old tip still in good condition. Two reviewers report the tip breaking early, one after about three months, and feel the price is not justified by durability. One reviewer also notes the tips do not magnetize. The sample is small, so durability reports are mixed rather than conclusive.
