The Star-Box has been designed to accommodate either standard 7.2V NiMH, or 7.4V LiPo batteries (Optional Bullet Cable Available for use with bullet terminal LiPo Packs). With its ultra-cool stylish design, the Star-Box comes fully assembled and ready to use. The premium quality, long-life drive belt system is driven off of a powerful 775-type, fan cooled electric motor. The CNC-machined aluminum housing and top plate have a high-quality black coating for extra durability, while the countersunk housing screws are recessed with the surface to eliminate unwanted protrusions. An integrated switch is attached to a premium-quality wiring harness with extra-thick cables and quick change "fast-on" connector, so no soldering is required. The quick change starter wheel design allows the wheel to be mounted on both right or left side, and allows fast & simple starter wheel replacement with the removal of only 3 screws! An integrated composite handle with ergonomic back cover allows for comfortable carrying, and tall plastic feet are included to configure the Star-Box for use with taller truggies.

hey all....if you buy the extra long Hudy feet for this box .. you can start an XT8-09 on it.
Bought this from RC America this past September. This is important because a review from four years ago reflects my experience. First of all, upon calling RC America, they guaranteed me that it would fit my NB and NT 48. It does not. Second, it is not strong enough to turn over my REDS engines. It has one engine and one small starter wheel. It almost started my R7 Evoke before the wheel started to melt. Same thing happened with my R5T-TE in my NT48. So, they haven't changed anything in four years even though they know it doesn't fit a variety of chassis and is too weak to start a variety of engines. Don't buy this box. Find an Ofna box or it's generic analog and go that route. Maybe the Kyosho box is better, too. We never know until we buy a product and get burned.
Perfect! So small. So powerfull. Bought an extra wheel but have never used it due the durability of the materials. So yes, you can by spareparts without any problem. Btw. its too small for some truggies.

This box is light and is easy to carry around in all race. I use a Lipo for this starter box and I just love in it. I own this box almost three years not a single problem.
