Not very good for 1/10 off-road. Works OK for thin wheels, like buggy fronts, but the axle is too short for buggy rears and stadium truck wheels. Well, they fit on, but you can't put on the nut so it's a little cumbersome.
I LOVE IT! It is silky smooth! Only fits what it says it fits. Anything else will be trial and error.
quite reliable to measure, i tried magnetic floating one as well i feel they are not accurate. i prefer this hudy for my 1/10 touring car. but just for your information also i can use balance for 1/10 buggy D413 problem is i cannot tighten the nut for rear wheel. also i use for my shortcourse wheels as well.
Does anyone know if this adapter will work on 1/10 SC trucks? i dont want to spend 25 to find out it doesn't
Reviewers generally rate this Hudy wheel balancer adapter well for 1/10 touring cars, with several praising its smooth operation and measurement accuracy compared with a magnetic floating balancer. Opinions diverge on other wheel types: one reviewer says it works for thin buggy front wheels but not buggy rear wheels or stadium truck wheels, where the axle is too short to fit the retaining nut. Another reports using it for buggy and short course wheels, with the rear buggy nut again being a problem. One review asks whether it fits 1/10 short course trucks, with no answer given. Reviewers consistently note that it fits only the wheel sizes it is designed for and that other fits may require trial and error.
