This item requires battery to be run in center location only unless the mounting rail is shaved down to clear the locknut that sicks out of the bottom where the mounting tab screws through. 3 stars for its low price but inconvenience factor.

Not great. You lose the ability to be able to move the battery forward or backwards from center. In other words the battery can only go rite in the center when using this battery hold down.
