About this part
Shock Tower Overview:
The J&T Bearing Co. Tekno NB48 2.2 and EB48 2.2 Rear Aluminum Split Short Shock Tower is an optional upgrade engineered for the Tekno RC NB48 2.2 and EB48 2.2 platforms. Built for racers who demand maximum consistency, balance, and corner speed, this shock tower refines the rear-end feel of the buggy and elevates performance across all track conditions, especially on high-grip surfaces where precision matters most.
About the Aluminum Split Short Shock Tower
Refined Control & High-Grip Performance
This shock tower lowers the buggy's center of gravity and smooths suspension travel, giving the chassis a more planted, composed attitude through bumps and transitions. Its split-tower architecture introduces controlled flex that boosts durability while maintaining sharp response, helping the buggy rotate cleanly and carry speed through corners. With reduced chassis roll, improved grip management, and enhanced balance on high-traction tracks, racers gain the confidence to push harder lap after lap.
Features:
- Refines suspension travel for improved control
- Split architecture adds controlled flex and durability
- More composed and planted feel through bumps and transitions
- Sharper steering response with better grip management on high-traction surfaces
- Reduced chassis roll and weight transfer for a more stable feel
Includes:
- (1) Rear Aluminum Split Short Shock Tower
*Tech Note: This shock tower is designed to work with Tekno RC's short shock setup and is not compatible with the X-Long shock components.
