I like that you can use a driver or nut driver on it. It worked great and allows the bell to spin freely but after one race weekend. I did clutch maintenance and while putting it back on. The head of the screw just broke off, leaving the rest of the screw in the shaft. Not worth the money.
Do yourself a favor and do not buy this. There's a well known rc driver who made a video about these and he calls it CHITANIUM for a reason. I ordered a new clutch and this bolt to finish it off with. The head of the bolt snapped clean off in my new OS rd2 engine. Believe me when I say overtightening wasn't the issue. Now I'm ordering a drill press to hopefully remove the rest of the bolt stuck in my crank.
One of the coolest, best looking and most lightweight clutch screws I've ever seen. Perhaps it's a little unnecessary, but I still bought it and it turns out, I love it. The double hex and nut sizes are obviously great, and the main element that turns this r/c jewelry into a practical item. The oil slick finish is pretty eye-catching too, and while I do like it, it would be nice to see various 'finishes' offered optionally. Very Recommended.
Reviewers disagree sharply on this titanium clutch screw. Two verified owners report the head snapping off during clutch maintenance or installation, one leaving the shank stuck in the shaft, and one saying overtightening was not the cause. One reviewer praises its light weight, appearance, and the double hex that allows use with a driver or nut driver. The oil slick finish is described as eye-catching, with a suggestion that other finishes be offered. The breakage reports are the most serious recurring concern, while the positive review is a single, non-verified opinion.
