This is a optional JConcepts Chassis Over Tray, and is intended for use with the Traxxas Slash 4x4 short course truck. When racing on a loamy or top soil track surface the inside of the chassis can become loaded with dirt or debris which creates extra weight. With the JConcepts over-tray these worries are minimized with the simple and functional over-tray. Fitting nicely under the body; the JConcepts over-tray hugs the outside dimension of the chassis protecting the inside from unwanted excess dirt and debris build-up during racing conditions.
The over-tray fits snug around the entire chassis structure while being attached in the front with hook and loop tape (or velcro if you prefer) for easy access. The over-tray is built with extra height and rake to provide extra room for various electrical and battery configurations.
NOTE: Not compatible with LCG trucks.

I want to let everyone know that this over tray will not fit on your slash 4x4 without quite a bit of trimming. Which is perfectly fine as long as you expect to do a little mucking around. With that being said, this thing works great once you get it to fit right. I put duct tape flaps down along the sides so I could use velcro to attach it to the main chassis. I use my over tray in the snow and it keeps 99% of snow out. It makes clean up a whole lot easier and is also very convenient when running in loose gravel because it keeps debris out of that open spot in the driveline. I would recommend it, but know that you will have to do a little work to make it fit right.
Wires on the chassis push the cover up on one side and since there is nothing that really holds it firmly in place it just pops up. Plus, I had to cut custom nothches out for my front sway bars.
Does not fit LCG chassis. Would have nice to know before ordering.
