JConcepts Fin Aluminum 12mm V2 Shock Cap (Black) (2)

These are super light shock caps, nicely machined. And although not pictured, they are supplied with the bleeder screws and o-rings for the screws also.

When I picked up my new AE B6.2 and DR10 kits a couple weeks ago, I also grabbed a set of 4 of these black caps, the matching bottom caps and the spring adjusters for the DR10, but I also changed out the lame stock non-threaded bodies with the AE Kashima coated option, along with x-rings, delrin guides and pistons, which required me to change the stock e-clip shafts for the newer screw type V2 shafts, so i went with the TiNi 27mm. I did the same thing with the B6.2 except got all the parts in blue and obviously went with shorter 23mm bodies and shafts up front. I have tons of other Jcons stuff, and Ive always been happy with their stuff. The one thing I didnt think about until I installed the shocks on the buggy, but being that the stock B6.2 standoffs are aluminum and are designed to work with the stock plastic shock caps without any sleeve or insert. So when i installed the shocks, its aluminum standoffs with slightly loose fitting aluminum shock caps that can move around enough that Im certain both the caps and standoffs would wear really quickly. While I've ordered the Lundsford standoffs that come with delrin inserts, I was pretty surprised that nowhere on this site or on any of the packaging or instructions does it mention that the caps wont work properly with the stock standoffs. But other than that all of these shock parts are great. Just waiting on the blue adjusters as well as all the spring perches in both colors...
