JConcepts Goose Bumps Short Course Tires (2) (Green)
About this part
The Goose Bumps are a special breed, designed for maximum performance when new or used as the design allows even wear all the way down to the tire body. Once the driver wears through the initial pin, a bar follows to maximize potential on aggressive surfaces. The Goose Bumps incorporate a compact tire body with a crisp tread pattern with precise separation for intense short course racing competition.
Goose Bumps in new condition excel on soft surfaces with either dry or wet conditions. Worn Goose Bumps excel on indoor or outdoor clay tracks where a slight groove has formed.
Features:
- Race inspired tread design with all-terrain inspiration
- Available in sticky Green compound
- Compact tire body with crisp tread and precise separation
- Aggressive step pin and bar lug combination design
- Includes foam inserts

Great tires when there is a little loose dirt on top of a hard packed track.
ya i agree with Adam but i realized they are awsome on loose dirt and hard packed becuase my truck just flew around those turns and ripped of the jumps but you cant drive these on pavement there way to soft
Uh, Yes these are off road tires, and any off road tire will wear out if used on pavement or asphalt. Some onroad tread tires, stock tires or worn out tires would be best for parking lot tuning. These tires are dialed! The new subcultures and double dees are awesome too. Tires are the single most important tuning choice, choose wisely.
Dont get me wrong with this review, I like these tires.. but i would strongly suggest getting them if you plan to run on loose dirt, and keep another stock set handy if you plan to do anything else. My local track has a loose dirt track which i bought them for. However my motor blew up and i threw in a new one. Ran my car for about 10 min at roughly 60-70% throttle in the parking lot just breaking in the motor a little.. and my tires were almost 1/2 worn from it. So yeah, REALLY soft tires, but they do work well in the dirt
I have tried every tire around and the Goose bumps are my fav's. I alway's have a many fresh set's for my DEX 210, and Tekno 410. They work great on hard packed with some loose dirt and as they wear down they work great on carpet. You can't go wrong with this tire..
Reviewers broadly praise these short course tires for traction on loose dirt and loose-over-hardpack surfaces, with several noting they work well on loamy or dusty clay and remain usable on carpet as they wear. One reviewer found them very soft, with a set losing nearly half its tread after about ten minutes of parking-lot running. Multiple reviewers advise against pavement use and recommend keeping a stock or onroad set for other surfaces. Vehicles mentioned include 2WD and 4WD short course trucks and e-buggies. Several reviews are short and enthusiastic, and one mentions a different tire brand in passing, so the evidence is mostly consistent but limited to a small number of owners.
- + Strong traction on loose dirt
- + Works on loose-over-hardpack and loamy or clay surfaces
- + Usable on carpet as tread wears
- + Good value for the price
- − Very soft; wears quickly on pavement or parking lots
- − Not suited to asphalt use
- − Needs a separate set for other surfaces
