I ordered this a few weeks back and finally put this on my classic A Pan RC 10. To my surprise, the screws shown in the image were NOT included in my package. I had to cut my existing screws down to make this work. Also, I need to order extra parts since my existing equipment from the steering servo to the steering components is not compatible as is. So, can't use my buggy until I rectify. Not a big deal, but the image of this item shows the screws. They were NOT included... Have others who have bought this had the same experience with that?
Item does not come with hardware. It does not use the standard screws. You will need to purchase 3/8 x 1/2 100 deg flat head screws to fit these.
This is a great replacement for the RC10's standard steering bell crank. take all the steering slop out.
Nice quality parts, took away most slop from the steering. You do have to use a shorter 3/8” long 8-32 screws to make this work. Put a 2mm ball stud spacer under the servo side 4-40 ball stud. Used a custom works ”8122” long 4-40 ball stud to get this done. This allows clearance for the steering rod turnbuckle to not hit the servo at full steering travel. I know not everyone just has 30+ years of RC parts just laying around to modify with. Honestly this kit is not a direct drop in and does require a little bit of work to get it setup. But is probably the best option for the RC10 platform performs well and it looks great, always a bonus.

Reviewers generally praise the aluminium bell crank set for reducing steering slop and giving good performance on the RC10 platform. The main recurring complaint is that the hardware shown in the product image, including screws, is not included, and reviewers say standard screws do not fit, so 3/8 inch 100-degree flat head or shorter 8-32 screws are needed. One reviewer reports the set is not a direct drop-in fit with the servo side, requiring a 2 mm ball stud spacer and a longer 4-40 ball stud to clear the steering turnbuckle at full travel. One review is in an unreadable language and is not usable.
