These are awesome! Perfect for gluing tires. Used on Proline badlands and Split six rims..
These things are the best 10 bucks I've ever spent. Use them on all my buggies (work great for 10th scale as well). I've never really had a problem gluing 1/8 scale tires but my beads on 10th scale stuff was always a disaster until I started using these. Nice even seal and no high spots anymore. Ive probably glued 50 sets with them so far and wouldn't hesitate to buy another set if I broke one somehow.
$10 for special rubber bands might seem pretty silly, but these are a pleasure to use. Highly recommended if you've got $10 burning a hole in your pocket. :)
I have used my own bands, zip ties, you name it to glue tires. I always ended up getting glue on the tire or my fingers moving the band around. These fit snug for my 1/10 and tight for my SC. The tabs stick out perpendicular to the tire so VERY easy to place on and adjust. I was so happy with my first set, I bought a second set so I could glue tires the right way!! I wish I wouls have bought something like this a decade ago...
These stretch to fit around short course tires pretty easily. The tabs on the rubber band really help to realign it or when moving it to glue the other site of the tire. I thought it was a little silly but I wont go back to regular rubber bands after using them!
All five reviewers are verified owners who rate these blue tire glue bands 5/5. Reviewers consistently say the tabs make placement and adjustment easy, and that the bands stretch to fit 1/10 and short course tires, with one noting they fit snugly. Several reviewers report better bead seals and fewer glue mishaps than with regular rubber bands or zip ties. Multiple reviewers mention the roughly $10 price and say it seems steep at first but is worth it. Reviews mention use on Proline Badlands, Split Six rims, and 1/8 and 1/10 scale buggies. No negative experiences or disagreements are reported.
