The JConcepts Shorty Storage Box is not lipo safe or a locker for hazardous long-term goods but an attempt to align and tighten up your batteries while in the pits or on the go. The storage box has a small footprint which makes it ideal for short trips with minimal amounts of space. Inside the box is roomy enough for three shorty batteries and cushioned with high-impact foam that allow the batteries to lay in a bed like a cradle during rest periods. The foam insert has built-in areas which allow finger tip access top and bottom for that necessary grabby feel. The custom built storage box, molded black in color has JConcepts.net logo for authenticity and built-in plastic latch for easy open and close operation.

Love these for clean storage! Holds SMC racing graphenes perfectly.
The plastic box itself is nice, not to thin. The foam is a hard dense foam with some serious off gassing, give it a few hours outside to air out. The main issue for me is that none of my shorty lipo batteries fit in the spaces provided. I tried two brands gens ace and SMC. Both were to big. Ultimately I cut some foam out so my lipos would fit but it no longer has that nice clean laser cut look. If you use smaller lipos this is perfect.
A good $10 investment to protect expensive and dangerous lipos.
