JConcepts Swaggers 2.2" 2WD Front Buggy Carpet Tires (2) (Pink)
About this part
The ultra low-profile carcass keeps a 2wd buggy very predictable and consistent in high-grip conditions while pointing the vehicle in the correct direction. JConcepts has added side-wall ribs in a circular pattern to the exterior of the tire to support high-grip racing. The pink compound marked with 2 pink dots on the tire is a medium soft material with good wear characteristics. Since the Swagger tire is so small in diameter, no insert is necessary for championship level performance.
Features:
- JConcepts fit, finish and design
- Offset, multiple height, angular ribs
- Low-profile carcass for increased response
- Carefully shaped carcass for rolling speed
- Pink Medium Soft compound, developed for carpet and astro tracks
- No insert required or included

If you want a tire that isn't as twitchy as the proline prism, this is the next go to. You lose steering, but it also calms the front down a little and makes the car more consistent.
these do seem to track straighter on astro turf, a lot less edgy and twitchy, they also work good on 4WD buggies to reduce front traction, traction rolling, and smooth out steering.
Exceptional tire for astroturf. I found that with the swaggers, I had a more consistent wear pattern. These tires definitely last longer than others I also run... making them ideal candidates for the budget racer.
Tried these at the new Yatabe Arena track(now called Tsukuba Arena). It's the grey carpet. As a matter of full disclosure, I was running 17.5 boost, and didn't have any weight in the car. I was the only driver I saw using anything other than the Schumacher tires. I figured out why. These just don't turn as well; they push. Someone there lent me a set of his wheels to try and they were much more precise, and were not prone to traction role either. Maybe for 13.5t boost or modified these could be better ? But for me, I'm going to be purchasing the tires that work better and cost 2/3 the price of these from now on. Besides that they're a bitch to glue perfectly.
Ive found especially with the b6 that these tyres take alot of that pushy feeling away
Reviewers generally describe the Swaggers as calming front-end behaviour on carpet and astroturf, with several reporting straighter tracking, less twitchiness, and more consistent wear, and one budget-minded owner reporting longer life than other tires. One reviewer on a grey carpet track found them pushy and less precise than alternative tires, particularly at 17.5 boost with no weight in the car, while noting they might suit lower boost or modified classes. Gluing was described as difficult by that same reviewer. Reviews mix pink and unspecified colour listings, and the sample is small.

- + Consistent wear pattern
