I find that they have a lot of slop and play in these, not sure how anyone else has found them?

Looks very nice, but a lot of slop and play. Must be safed with big nuts.

Nice looking part with tons of slop. Kyosho said they have no feedback on all the slop, but to call them back should others have it as well. The nicest shocks in the business with crap ends and tolerances. Sad. So much potential for improvement. Adding a bleed screw would be nice.

Perfect fit and finish. As previously stated, they do require either the big bore O-ring or big bore bladder (neither is included). I was constantly breaking the plastic shock caps before converting to these.

I got these shocks standard with my kyosho Rb6 and they are perfectly fine, the reason you guys are probably experiencing these problems are cause you are not using the O rings that arn't include and come with the shock rebuild kit

What reviewers say

Reviewers largely agree the aluminum one piece shock caps look and finish well, but several report noticeable slop and play in the fit, which one reviewer says requires larger nuts to secure. A recurring complaint is that the ends and tolerances feel loose, and one reviewer suggests a bleed screw as an improvement. One reviewer who had been breaking plastic caps found these a solid fit once paired with a big bore O-ring or bladder, which are not included. Another reviewer with no reported issues attributes the problems to missing O-rings. Reviewers disagree on whether slop is a defect or a result of setup, and one reports the manufacturer had no feedback on the issue.

  • + Looks very nice
  • + Good fit and finish
  • + Stronger than plastic caps
  • − Noticeable slop and play
  • − Ends and tolerances feel loose
  • − Requires big bore O-ring or bladder not included
