These metal tracks are awesome. The installation is real easy and there were no adjustments needed from going from the plastic to the metal tracks. They fit perfectly. When I first pulled them out of the box I was afraid they were too short and I had purchased the wrong ones. But no. The weight is real nice on the snow. It makes plowing easier. I checked the gears of the drive line and there is no additional wear on the gears after a half hour of play. I figure in time the gears will wear out like all gears do, but not seeing anything excessive. And replacement gears are available. So have fun and enjoy.
Only gets 4 stars because they;re a bit expensive. Made a big difference in driving on snow. The plastic tracks don't bite very well in anything other than powder, but the extra weight of these tracks makes the Blizzard bite down, and away you go!
Very authentic looking and sounding. Very worthwhile upgrade.
big difference plowing with the extra weight.Real happy
Real Nice tracks, fit perfect and are easy to install. The metal cleats are attached with pins through the rubber material and then "push" nuts are used to hold it together. They do supply some extra nuts for replacements. I highly recommend them.
Reviewers consistently report that these metal caterpillar tracks fit the Blizzard well and install easily without needing adjustments. The added weight is widely praised for improving traction and plowing on snow, with one reviewer noting the plastic tracks grip poorly outside powder. Reviewers describe the look and sound as more authentic. One reviewer found no excess gear wear after half an hour of use, while expecting gears to wear over time, and noted replacement gears are available. Price is the only drawback mentioned, by one reviewer. Pins and push nuts hold the cleats, and spare nuts are supplied. Review count is small, and reviews are mostly from verified owners.
