About the Inferno MP11e Buggy Kit
Optimized Chassis
The MP11e features a dedicated three-millimeter 7075 aluminum chassis that is precisely machined to deliver controlled flex, improved rigidity, and ideal weight distribution. Its split left-right battery layout lowers the center of gravity and supports shorty and mid-size packs for balanced handling. Adjustable spur gear height and a straight-line drivetrain design ensure efficient power transfer and easy tuning for high-power brushless systems.
Refined Aerodynamics
The updated body design and rear wing package enhance high-speed stability and cornering performance. The motor sits closer to the chassis centerline for sharper steering response, while the aluminum 12° kingpin hub carriers improve high-speed stability. Proven MP11 suspension geometry and long diaphragm shocks provide consistent traction, offering predictable handling across a wide range of track conditions.
Race-Focused Adjustability
The MP11e incorporates split-type bulkheads with quick-change differential height adjustment for fast tuning and maintenance. Adjustable battery trays, ESC positioning, and wing spacing allow racers to fine-tune balance and downforce. A sealed receiver box, clean cable routing, and efficient drivetrain layout make the platform both durable and easy to service during race days. Every component reflects Kyosho's commitment to high-level competition and a premium driving experience.

It's perfect in every way. Last season I was racing my MP 7.5 Kanai that I converted to electric and was looking to modernize a little (by 24 years). I set it up by the Yuichi Kanai setup sheets for loose dirt. The track I race it on get's pretty beat up so you gotta go wide to avoid the ruts and end up close to the loose loam, or go inside where there's a car width between the piping and ruts. I can confidently point it where I want it to go, and heavy throttle confidently. The MP11e is SOO balanced, and steering is so predictable that rotating it in varying traction conditions is no problem. From big jumps it lands like butter and then bites right in. It can be rotated in the air, steering and braking in the air is consistent. Powering out of corners to jumps is confident and consistent. It's taken a few tumbles, lawn darted after the big triple jump got a rut sending the rear end high. No bending or breaking, just the anodizing rubbed off a little on the front shock caps and shock tower. The body is fun, and better looking than previous Inferno electric bodies. I get that it isn't like the nice curvy MP6 and MP7.5 bodies that everyone fell in love with, but it looks good for a forward cab. One thing to consider is a motor longer than 75mm isn't going to fit well, and sensor wire may hit the steering bellcrank. I couldn't run my Novak Activ8 motor so I got a 2000kV Cayote and it has room to spare. My diffs sounded loud when I first assembled the car, but after the first race they seem to have quieted down. I'll keep an eye on them to see if they are wearing in or wearing out. Spend some extra time playing with shims to try and get the best mesh possible.
High quality build, but disappointed b/c running the motor in reverse rotation is not an option. The chassis needs to be milled out for the diffs, then it would be an option. Both Xray and Associated 1/8 buggies can run the motor in reverse rotation. Running reverse rotation makes the car feel better versus conventional rotation, imo. I’m going to have a mp11e chassis milled out, so I can run the mp11e in reverse rotation. Therefore I give it a 4 star rating.
I would like to say that I have always had K-Cars and have loved them! I’ve also driven other manufacturers cars, but I always went back to Kyosho! This new car surpasses all of my expectations in a positive way! The new design changes are wonderful and I like how now the differentials are easy to remove. I could go on and on about how well this car is, but one will have to experience all the good things about Kyosho for themselves. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone that wants a good solid car with a proven platform! I also want to thank AMAIN HOBBIES for all the hard work that they do!!! You guys are #1
Excellent!!!! I’ve had patience it like two or three weeks after I pre ordered the Kyosho MP11E…. And also AMAIN HOBBIES ARE NUMBER ONE!
Four reviews, all from verified or apparently verified owners of the Kyosho Inferno MP11e 1/8 4WD electric buggy kit. Reviewers generally praise the build quality, the balance and predictable steering on loose-dirt tracks, and easier differential removal. Two reviews are brief expressions of satisfaction with the seller and delivery, with one noting a wait of a few weeks after pre-ordering. One reviewer rated it 4 out of 5 because the chassis cannot run the motor in reverse rotation without modification, which they say is a limitation compared with some competing 1/8 buggies. Overall sentiment is strongly positive, but the sample is small and some reviews offer little product detail.
