Fun little car! The tires are hard plastic and on a hard surface like our kitchen floor are a hoot to drift around with. I added radial tires (all 4 wheels are the 8.5mm size) for driving on our RCP track and it handles much better. These AWD versions are not as fast as the RWD ones we have, but still loads of fun. They still need a smooth, clean surface to run on. They are not for use outside or on taller carpet. I assume this is an unpopular body and that explains the drastically lower cost of this kit compared to others. Everything included, outside of the body and wheel design, is the same as any other current AWD ReadySet. It comes set up for 'Narrow' width and 'Long' wheelbase, but comes with the required parts and bits to fit other bodies. I suggest getting the separate body, one of the more popular ones, along with this kit. That way you are actually spending less, but getting 2 bodies!

This is a sweet little rig! Great for indoors on hardwood or thin carpet and AWESOME on smooth concrete like in garage. So fun to drift around and learn how to do so. Car is a bit expensive, but it drives like a normal 10 scale. So much fun! Also, the kids have a blast ripping it around too. I wish it had speed control controls like a low, medium and high. Also, I use some rechargeable lithium batteries in it and it seems to work fantastic.!!
