About this part
True Trophy Truck Performance
The Kyosho Outlaw Rampage PRO 1/10 Scale Electric 2WD Trophy Truck Kit embodies the defining mechanics of a real production model trophy truck. The 2WD Outlaw Rampage PRO is about 70% pre-assembled in an Almost Ready to Run kit, including the optional upgrade components that mark this machine as a “PRO” version. The superior running stability and overall functionality of this rear wheel 2WD is realized from the roll cage, long stroke aluminum oil shocks, stabilizers on front and rear with 3 different wire gauge settings, and aluminum skid pads that protect the chassis. With easy controllability and wider scope for setting adjustments, the true dynamic performance of 2WD truck racing is in your hands.
About the Rampage PRO
Hardware
Designed for optimal performance and ease of maintenance, featuring full ball bearings with 20 high-quality bearings, ensuring smooth movement and minimizing drive loss. Additionally, hex screws are used throughout the model, facilitating easy maintenance and providing durability during intense use. This hardware setup enhances the overall performance and reliability of the vehicle, making it a top choice for hobbyists.
Suspension
Engineered for exceptional handling and stability, the rear suspension is linked to a rigid axle differential, delivering smooth movement and superior traction control. In the front, a double-wishbone suspension with extended suspension arms provides excellent driving stability and enhanced traction. This combination of advanced suspension systems ensures that the Rampage PRO maintains optimal performance on various terrains.
Drivetrain
The Kyosho Rampage PRO gearbox is built for durability and performance. It features a 32-pitch module counter gear and differential gear. Both gears are reinforced, and the use of large modules enhances overall strength, ensuring reliable and robust operation even under demanding conditions.

What a fun little truck! Solid axle, RWD, and excellent suspension. Easy build as well. Great truck!
This feels like R/C! What a fun platform. Beats any pro car in terms of driving 'feel'. If you like the way things like Super Trucks (high grip on-road with jumps) or 2WD Dirt Off Road Pre-Runner trucks handle - This is for you. This chassis pushes true driving skill. On high grip you need to manage braking and load the fronts or you might traction roll, then on mud or loose stuff it just pushes along like real trophy truck would eating up jumps and soaking up every imperfection with the long travel rear suspension design. The body is also excellent, looks scale, and has taken a beating pretty well. If you have had fun with 2WD Slashes and you want something even more scale 'feeling' go wit this. It is a fun blend of the crawler power (giant fixed real axle powering you down the road) with the fully independent front suspension. This thing rips, but it requires some patience and developing a feel for it and adapting your style to different surfaces - which is also why it is a ton of fun while being rewarding.
Pretty happy with it. Is a little tip happy on high bite surfaces. Body is amazing even though my paint skills suck. Make sure you peel back the tires and re-glue them! I'm going to experiment with the springs to see if I can get it to sit a little lower with more droop.
This is my first Kyosho kit I have to many Tamiya kits to count lol. The instructions are ok not quite as good/clear as Tamiya kits. That being said this is a great short course truck! I powered mine with a Traxxas BL2S system and flysky transmitter/reciever. Truck handles great! The solid rear axle handles a lot different than independent rear rigs more like a real truck. Which makes it a blast to drive! Highly recommended
Reviewers are broadly positive about the Kyosho Outlaw Rampage PRO 1/10 2WD trophy truck kit. Common praise includes the handling feel, the solid rear axle that behaves more like a real truck, the long-travel rear suspension, and an attractive scale body that holds up to impacts. One reviewer found the build easy but the instructions less clear than Tamiya's. Reported drawbacks are a tendency to tip forward on high-grip surfaces, which requires managing braking and weight transfer, and a tip about peeling and re-gluing the tires. One reviewer planned spring changes to lower the ride height. Four reviews is a small sample, and all reviews refer to this kit.

- + Attractive, durable scale body
