Awesome little transponder! We use these on our Mojave Groms for driveway racing. Small hole in the side of the truck allowed the infrared LED to poke out just enough for the system to pick it up. Many crashes and tumbles and never had an issue yet.
I’m running the LapMonitor Micro-B Transponder (LPM02008) on both my Micro-T and Micro-B, and it’s been awesome. Super easy to install with the 3-pin JST-XH connector—plug and play, no messing around. Performance-wise, it’s been rock solid. Consistent lap counting, no missed reads, and it syncs perfectly with the LapMonitor system. For small-scale racing where accuracy matters, this thing just works. Size and weight are ideal for micro cars—doesn’t mess with balance or performance at all. If you’re running a Micro-T or Micro-B and using LapMonitor, this is a no-brainer.
