Electronics & Motor
The Losi Mini LMT Megalodon is powered by an oversized 25T 380 brushed motor that delivers the horsepower needed for racing and the torque required for freestyle stunts like wheelies and backflips. Control is seamless thanks to the factory-installed Spektrum™ 25A two-in-one ESC and receiver unit. The Spektrum Smart G2 2S LiPo battery ensures long run times and integrates smart technology, automatically uploading charging data to the included Smart USB-C charger. This eliminates guesswork, making charging safe, fast, and accurate. Steering is managed by the powerful Spektrum SX108 servo, providing over forty ounces per inch of torque with a built-in servo saver to protect against sudden shocks during stunts. The Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz radio offers advanced control features, such as steering trim and throttle limiting, allowing beginners to gradually unlock the truck's full speed potential.
Body Design
The Losi Mini LMT Megalodon features an officially licensed, highly detailed body that brings the fearsome Megalodon monster truck to life in miniature form. With its injection-molded composite construction, the body is built for durability while maintaining the true-to-life look of the full-scale truck. This thing is an absolute beast. Very much a monster truck. My son’s first hobby RC was the sonuva digger and loved it so I got this one for his younger brother (they’re 5 and 3) and they rip haha had minor things to fix a couple months in but what do you expect when your 3 year old is getting used to the speed haha. Solid truck. Fast and durable and trust me, these kids treat it like a basher (I was unaware of this style of RC before making these purchases and watching YouTube ?)
I bought this for my 5 yo, he loves Monster jam and I wasn’t about to buy a cheap one of these knowing what I know about R/C. This thing is fast and fun. It’s also pretty tough, it’s taken a couple hard hits and hasn’t broken. It does have adjustable speed levels for newer drivers. It’s extremely fast on the top setting and will pull wheelies. It’s a really fun little truck..
Excellent customer service and product to match. Fun truck as is or to be a platform for mods and customization. Younger kids can definitely enjoy it with adult supervision for maintenance and repairs. Lots of replacement parts and other things overall very nice.
