Was excited to get this car. Car uses many of the same parts as my 22s Sprint. This will be nice at the track. Weekend of the 22nd we will find out how competitive I can be. I already am thinking of purchasing the second one and converting it into a modified late model. Possibly for a future class.
I definitely like this car. I have the sprint car too but the late model handles a lot better. Happy with this purchase
The quality control on this car, is just as bad as when the Losi Sprint car first came out. 1.You will need to go and pull your rear end apart, take the diff out, and check it see if you got cracks,in the casting for the screws go into it. If you do get a hold of your distributor and complain. 2. Half my shocks didn't have much oil in them. There only half full, and one of them was almost completely empty. Just a little bit of oil over the Piston. With the shock extended. After the few little manufacturer's problem. I have taking it out and raced it. It was a week ago Saturday night, that night we had 11 late modifieds. I took six with a little bit of tuning, and changing shock oils. A little bit of time, this car will be fun than the Losi sprint cars.
Very Happy with my purchase. This is definitely a dirt race car. Hopefully it will last a while. Thanks
Shipping was better than expected and love the product
Reviewers of the green Losi 22S 1/10 Brushless 2WD RTR Dirt Late Model are generally very positive, with most giving five stars and describing it as a capable dirt race car that handles better than the 22S Sprint for some owners. One reviewer who rated it four stars reported quality control issues, including half-empty shocks and a need to check the rear diff casing for cracks before use. A different reviewer found the car worked straight out of the box on an asphalt flat track with no changes. The included radio was singled out as the weakest component by one reviewer. Overall, the reviews suggest good out-of-box performance with occasional build-quality concerns.
