Threads are too fine for the plastic cups. They don't hold their adjustment, and will be junk after your first contact with competitor or wall. Buy the aluminum Hot Racing set for a few bucks more.

These are a downgrade. The stock plastic units work perfectly fine especially for speed running or driving in front of your house like I do . You take a hit or roll your car you are taking a walk to get your car and will quickly learn these are a waste of money.

Can't take any kind of hit. Last straw for me i had a guy grase my car flipping me and both f/r studs pulled out. Ended up getting the hot racing ones.

What reviewers say

All three reviewers rate this turnbuckle set 1/5 and report that it fails under impact. Reported problems include studs pulling out after a flip or a collision, threads that are too fine for the plastic cups, and adjustments that do not hold. One reviewer says the stock plastic parts performed adequately for light use such as speed running or short street driving, and considers this set a downgrade. Two reviewers recommend aluminum Hot Racing turnbuckles as an alternative. All reviews are from the same variant, and the set's durability under crashes is the common concern.

  • − Studs pull out after impacts or flips
  • − Threads too fine for plastic cups
