About this part
Realistic R/C Supermoto Experience
The Losi Promoto-SM Ready to Run 1/4 Brushless Supermoto has been designed to tear up the streets. This Supermoto comes out of the box equipped with Pro-Line Racing OE Supermoto Street Tires. Built on the Promoto-MX platform with a ton of updates, the Promoto-SM gives users the most authentic supermoto experience an RC bike can offer.
About the RTR Promoto-SM
Updated Suspension and Brakes
The front brake has received major updates with a redesigned caliper and floating piston to apply pressure to a larger surface area. The lean bars have also been updated and are mounted on a bearing allowing for better traction on hard surfaces. The Promoto platform is a fluid-filled friction chamber between the upper and lower head tube bearings. The chamber is filled with heavy 500,000cSt which dampens the servo saver well and helps to control any possible "head shake.”
Three Driving Modes
The included DX3PM transmitter comes from the factory with three distinct modes. Using the toggle on the side of the transmitter, you can change between Dirt Mode, Street Mode, and Wheelie Control. Dirt Mode gives the bike enough power to rip around and ride the back tire without "Wheelie-Overs". Street Mode senses when the bike starts to pitch up and clips the throttle quickly ensuring maximum acceleration. Wheelie Control Mode lets you Braap it up by keeping the front tire off the ground for as long as you want.
Electronics
To give the bike a real gyroscopic feel, a motor is placed at the bottom of the chassis spinning a flywheel at over 22,000 RPM. The driving motor is a Spektrum Firma 3652 3800kV 4-Pole Brushless Motor powered by a Spektrum Firma 85A Brushless Smart Motorcycle ESC. Slap your battery in this Supermoto and get out and braap it up!

This thing is awesome… took it out with 3 batteries fully charged for the first run… came back charged the 3 up and did it again!!! Crazy fun!!
An absolute blast to drive! It will cover some real estate real quick so give it plenty of space. Might I suggest you start on 50% speed until you get the hang of it. Not going to lie and say it’s easy at first, just a learning curve. It’s not like driving a four wheeled vehicle. I took mine to a local concrete hockey rink. The smooth surface was very forgiving when it made contact.
TEAM AMAIN! FUCK YEAH!! Received an email around 10-11 o’clock the other night.. only had a few minutes to take the deal, and I scored a ProMoto SM for $399!! Thanks Amain!
I ran mine for the first time today and it was a LOT of fun! The parking lot I was going to use still had cars in it so I had to use a narrow side road behind the building and, even with the cramped riding spot, I was able to learn how to control it decently after one battery. I also bought a set of wheels & dirt tires for MX riding and two extra batteries. It came with a USB charger, but I bought a Spektrum S1100 charger to replace it, and I also installed the Pro-Line Enduro Light Kit on it. This thing lives up to the hype, and I foresee a bunch of fun times with this r/c motorcycle. And I love that there are so many upgrades available for it.
Another fantastic Losi product to add to the collection!! Super fast shipping and everything was absolutely perfect when I opened it up. Highly highly recommend Amaingobbies and will continue to purchase from again in the near future!!!
All seven reviews are five-star ratings for the Losi Promoto-SM FXR Supermoto RTR in the white/FRX variant, and reviewers consistently describe it as very fun to drive. Several note a learning curve at first, with one suggesting starting at half speed and giving it ample space because it covers ground quickly. Reviewers report it handles well on asphalt, pavement and a hockey rink, with wheelie mode and dirt tires mentioned for off-road use. Multiple owners recommend buying extra batteries, as one battery provides limited run time. Some reviews also mention the included USB charger being replaced by an aftermarket charger, and fast shipping from the seller. Reviews are mostly enthusiastic and do not describe significant defects.
