Maclan XT60 Connectors (3 Sets)
About this part
Reviews5.0 · 4 reviews
awesome connectors, especially for the price. 14ga wire is a breeze to solder to, and 12ga is easy with a good iron. plug in a female end if soldering a male end, and vice versa, and you wont have to worry about any heat transfer melting a housing. Any bigger connector for 4S batteries, are just a waste of money.
Very good quality. Soldered very well without melting any part of it.
Maclan XT60 Connectors good quality highly recommended
I’m really liking these connectors. I use them in all my 1/8 vehicles. Heavy duty and I even used them on 10 gauge wire and if you shape the end of the wire using some shock pliers the 10 gauge wire fits nice and snug inside the connector to solder it tight.
Reviewers uniformly rate these XT60 connectors five out of five and describe them as good quality and good value. Several note they solder easily, including with 14 AWG and 12 AWG wire, and one reviewer reports fitting 10 AWG wire after shaping the end with shock pliers. One reviewer reports that soldering did not melt the housing, and advises plugging in a mating connector while soldering to avoid heat transfer. One reviewer uses them in 1/8 scale vehicles and calls them heavy duty. No recurring problems or disagreements are reported across the four reviews.
