About the Quantum2

Chassis & Suspension

The main chassis of the Quantum2 uses an internal honeycomb pattern to increase chassis rigidity. The control arms, turnbuckles, and steering components are all made from an extremely durable plastic. This plastic is extremely flexible allowing the components to absorb any hard impacts. The chassis features an 11.22in (285mm) wheelbase with a 13.97in (355mm) width! This incredibly wide stance keeps the truck from traction rolling while the short wheelbase keeps the truck feeling extremely responsive on throttle.

ANTHONY SHILLINGon Maverick Quantum2 1/10 4WD RTR Electric Monster Truck (Orange)

i didn't get mine from amain but have had a blast with it after putting a brushless system in it. but found out they use normal steal bearings with no rubber seal that let dirt get into them or in my case sand. pulled it apart today to do my after run cleaning and found all the 12x18x4 bearing where seized up because they where full of sand from my driveway and had to work with them to clean them out to get them free working again. so will be buying rubber sealed bearing since i know know all the sizes (4) 5x8x2.5 (5) 5x11x4 (4) 6x12x4 (8) 12x18x4 and i have the 2 smaller ones since i have them around for my traxxas but will be gettung the other 2 really soon

Awesome little truck!seems pretty durable as the plastic flex's as needed in crashes and super easy to upgrade to brushless.

I bought this and it came with leaking shocks and a slow transmission. I had to upgrade it immediately to make it fast but it started to breaks down every outing . I purchased all the upgrades, including alloy for the shocks, but the spur broke, and now I’m just left with parts. It’s ok for kids not for someone looking for a hobby grade RC .

What reviewers say

Reviewers generally find the Maverick Quantum2 1/10 4WD RTR monster truck a good value and easy to upgrade, with one owner noting the plastic flexes well in crashes. Opinions diverge on performance: some praise its speed and fun, while others find the stock brushed system slow and recommend a brushless upgrade. The most significant recurring problem is durability with the stock setup. One reviewer reported leaking shocks, a slow transmission and a broken spur gear after upgrades, and another found standard steel bearings without seals seized from sand and dirt ingress. Reviewers also mention quick shipping and good customer service. Based on the six reviews, buyers should expect to upgrade drivetrain components and consider sealed bearings for sandy or dirty use.
