Here is a follow up review. The servo is AWESOME. Its water resistant so some splashes are fine, but dont submerge it. Case is nice, gets rid of a lot of heat. Plenty of torque for my T4.1. This is the best servo i have ever bought! 100% recommend this to anybody.
used it for throttle on my buggy and it only lasted 2 qualifiers and stopped working when I was warming up for the main. lets see how good the MKS is on their product.
I've been using this as a shift servo in my Bomber for a year. It's been working great, no issues at all even after being submerged for a short time (opps)! Probably can't be beat for the money.
This servo is great. Had it for a couple months now, beating it hard in an HPI Blitz basher with the servo saver almost locked. This thing is handling the abuse perfectly, and is very fast and precise. Love it. In the pics the case looks orange, but mine was brownish.
First time I'm not so sure about this servo, because the price is great I give it a try. This servo perform quiet good and comparable with my savox, fast and not noisy at all. Who tight on budget, take this servo and try it..!!
Reviewers generally rate the MKS DS1210 highly for its price, with many describing it as fast, precise and offering good torque across uses including RC cars, trucks and helicopters. Several note it handles heavy abuse and brief water exposure well, and some mention reasonable heat dissipation from the case. Reported drawbacks include noise under load and a tight fit in one installation. A recurring theme is a minority of verified owners reporting early failures, one within two days and another after roughly six months, with one case of a dead servo under warranty review. Overall sentiment is positive but mixed on reliability.
- + Strong value for the price
- + Fast and precise response
- + Good torque
- + Handles abuse and water splashes
- − Noisy under load
- − Tight fit in some installations
- − Early failures reported by some owners
