greatest servo on the planet for heli cyclic so much holding power it's unreal
I use these servos in my scale helicopter 7 and 800 size on both the cyclic and tail rotor. They have phenomenal holding power and the movements are crisp and precise so it really helps when using a flybarless controller. I use Ikons now and these servos are a perfect match. I gave it only 4 stars because nothing is perfect. The servo chatter takes a bit of getting used to and using SeaCraft metal arms, they are difficult to get on and off without a puller. I use these servos at high voltage, set at 7 volts by my Kontronik BEC.
Lots of torque! Sleek look and Very impressive performance!
Reviewers consistently praise the servo's holding power and torque, with one describing it as strong enough for heli cyclic use, and another noting crisp, precise movement that pairs well with a flybarless controller. One reviewer uses it on cyclic and tail rotor in 700 and 800 size scale helicopters, running at 7 volts from a BEC. Noted drawbacks include servo chatter that takes time to get used to, and difficulty removing SeaCraft metal arms without a puller. Reviews are few and mostly from verified owners, and they focus on helicopter applications.
- + Strong holding power and torque
- + Crisp, precise movement
- + Good match for flybarless controllers
- + Sleek appearance
- − Servo chatter takes getting used to
- − Metal arms hard to fit and remove without a puller
