Item looks sturdy enough if not too thick. I had to mount it by adding spacers to four outside linkage screws, and it was a bit hard to get into space between rock sliders and original linkage skid plate on inner screws. I mounted it on a MST j4 Jimny. Well worth buying from Amain.
Great upgrade for your CMX. I have one criticism and that is if you have the MST sidesteps this is a real pain to install. Also, it doesn't look very scale because of how ludicrously shiny it is - MST should definitely make a black version.
A brush stroke of Testors Metalizer Paint makes easy coloring, or my favorite Gun metal bluing solution is quite charming in my opinion or for you youngsters BAD A$$ looking. sorry Amain picked up the plate at ASTEES. it's alright i'm filling up my wish list here for the New MST CFX-W 1/8 4WD Front Motor High Performance Offroad Kit w/ Clear Lexan J45C Body.
