Chassis

Suspension

The kit comes together very nicely. Fit and finish are as nice as any I’ve seen. I’ve built countless kits, but this is my first MST and I must say I’m impressed. I thoroughly enjoyed the build! My only complaints are, a kit in this price range, in my opinion, should come standard with an aluminum motor mount. Rigidity and heat dissipation should be prioritized and a better mount is a reasonable expectation at this price point. Another gripe is, why not include a decent magnetic body mount with the kit? Is anyone NOT using magnetic mounts in the drift scene nowadays? ..And lastly, I wish all companies would include some type of locking hubs in their kits. So tired of risking the loss of an axle pin until I buy some proper hubs. But back to the good stuff. Yeah, I like this kit.. A lot! I’d absolutely recommend getting one if someone is considering it. I have a feeling I’ll end up with more MST kits in the future. I would have given 5 stars if I didn’t have to fork over another $27 bucks for a proper motor mount.
Faster shipping than I could have ever expected. A+
Nice kit, included instructions are good, parts are nicely packaged and I found nothing missing. I kept a set of calipers on hand during the build as there are a good amount of little spacers, pins and bearings that are similar enough to be easily mixed up, it’s good to double check as things are going together. Also going to have to make longer wires for my ESC to motor as the included ones were slightly too short for this FR configuration. For the time being I just stuck my ESC on the front of the battery plate, sufficient for test driving purposes. Drove with the stock alignment and feel like the handling is snappy, but neutral enough to be a good starting point.
Great build. Super fun and high quality. I also love how the car handles straight out of the box. The o Lu thing I wish is that the gear box gears were metal not plastic.
