aluminum shaft snapped at the front after second time using. i tapped a wall with the side wheel but that was enough to snap it. now there is a broken piece stuck in the plastic support that i cant get out. Will not recommend
I'm usually a big fan of the quality of MST parts, but this one is just plain bad. The assembly was AWFUL as the pieces are extremely difficult to thread together. Once together they are too thin to take any kind of impact and SNAP (not bend) at any impact. Don't to it
Loved the adjustability at first but no more 10 min after installing them I tapped a wall and one of the upper turnbuckles broke in half. I should have read the reviews first. I even tried contacting MST but haven’t received any emails back.
I can not give this product a positive review for several reasons. The first is the lack of adjustability. The extremely tight fit of the aluminum part and plastic fittings makes it extremely difficult to make any adjustments whatsoever. It is impractical, not say impossible, to make any adjustments on the fly. My second concern is the wrench provided in the kit. It is difficult to use and will leave noticeable marks on the alu buckle. My main reason for purchasing this item was adjustability to the steering and this product did not provide any such features post install.
Was a nice to add some adjustability to my car but one of the front upper turnbuckles broke after maybe 10 hours of run time on the car.
Reviewers of this red turnbuckle shaft set for the MST RMX 2.0 RTR largely report weak construction. Several describe the upper turnbuckles snapping or breaking, in some cases after light impacts such as tapping a wall, and in one case after about 10 hours of run time. One reviewer reports a broken piece lodged inside the plastic support or upper arm that could not be removed. Assembly and threading were described as difficult, and the tight fit reportedly limits adjustment. The wrench in the kit was criticised for leaving marks on the aluminium buckle. One reviewer, a drift-car owner, praised the adjustability and recommended the set. Only one reviewer gave a positive rating, so the overall picture is strongly negative.
