This kit has to be the 2.0 design, holds together my pressure instead of having the stubs like the 2.5 does. The 2.5 nut is plastic that holds the diff stubs together, whereas this kit comes with a brass insert nut, which is a M2.5 Screw, which the 2.5 doesn't have, it has an M3 Screw, because it's screwing into plastic. Basically this kit would work if it came with the M2.5 screw, but it's still not a direct replacement for the 2.5. I don't see any replacement diff stubs with the little stubs to hold it together.

What reviewers say

Three verified owners reviewed this kit. One rated it 4/5, reporting that the factory parts were replaced and had not broken yet. Another gave 5/5 and praised the service and answers to questions, without detailing the parts' performance. The 3/5 review reports a compatibility problem: the reviewer believes the kit matches the 2.0 design rather than the 2.5, uses a brass insert nut requiring an M2.5 screw where the 2.5 uses an M3 screw into plastic, and says it is not a direct replacement for the 2.5 because no replacement diff stubs were found. Reviews are few and disagree on fit, so the evidence on compatibility is limited to one owner's account.

  • + Has not broken yet after replacing factory parts
  • + Responsive service and helpful answers to questions
  • − Possibly 2.0 design rather than 2.5 compatible
  • − Screw size mismatch (M2.5 brass insert vs M3 plastic)
  • − Not a direct replacement for the 2.5 per one reviewer
  • − No replacement diff stubs found by one reviewer
