These clutch shoes are the 7075 alluminum kit versions and work really good when traction is decent to really good or if the engine needs help on the bottom end, or if the jumps are tough to clear. They don't last quite as long as the hard versions, but give the most punch allowed by law, and set the standard for other brands to follow....
These shoes work well and last about 2 gallons like stated in another review. Reliable and consistent.
I run these shoes in my Mugen buggy and truggy, they are excellent, but i am all ways looking for something better.
This clutch is still the standard that all other 1/8th scale clutches are measured against. I have bought this part number at least 10 times because it works so well. I am averaging about 2 gallons in a 1/8th scale buggy, and 1 and 1/2 in a truggy. I run it with the 1.1 mm springs.
Four reviewers rate these aluminum clutch shoes highly and agree they perform reliably and consistently in 1/8 scale buggies and truggies. Reviewers describe them as offering strong punch, good traction-dependent performance, and helpful engine bottom-end and jump clearance. One reviewer notes they wear faster than hardened versions, and another reports roughly two gallons of fuel per shoe set in a buggy, about 1.5 in a truggy. Reviewers mention one run with 1.1 mm springs. Reviews are few and largely brief, so detail is limited.
