I was extremely happy with this kit for the price point. With the addition of some MyTrickRC splitters and other MyTrickRC leds to fill in the extra led pockets in my light buckets,I was able to have all the lights on the car look and function as I wanted them to. The wires were plenty long enough to facilitate the mounting locations I was considering. Programming was very easy and my units modes did match the manual as it should. The backfire looks very realistic and makes it that much more fun to watch driving around the track. The one and only thing I didn't like was that the controller wasn't fully encased in the plastic box; the plastic only covers the top and sides but not the back of the circuit board. Mounting was still hassle free, but it would be a 5/5 if it was fully closed in. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone, advanced or beginner.
