About this part
No Superior Designs RC RS2500 V2 1/5 Insane Torque Servo. This absolute beast is a game changer, the RS2500 V2 is one of the strongest, fastest, and most affordable premium 1/5 servo available on the market! Features a black anodized all CNC-machined aluminum case, 10-point O-ring seal, hardened stainless steel gears, high quality brushless motor, digital high accuracy encoder and it is a high voltage (HV) 16.8V capable! Making this servo an excellent option for large scale applications in need of high torque and speed with supreme durability and reliability such as the Axial SCX6 platform.
NOTE:
- Make sure the horn you use has a deep enough spline to fully seat on the RS2500 spline shaft. If the horn you use does not fully seat, it can cause the spline shaft to twist under heavy impact.
- The power connection plug, or power switch on your ESC, must be disconnected and turned off when not in use to prevent damage to the servo and/or battery! Not recommended to power using balance plug

The majority of the NSDRC product reviews are fake. All their products have reviews that are unverified, submitted around 6/1/2024, and from the same group of people. Open any two NSDRC products and compare the reviews to confirm.
This servo is a beast and had to dial it down a bit lol! For the price over the other one I was considering, I got two Nsdrc for the price of one instead of the other brand. The other brand is a beast but could not do it because of the price difference with just about the same specs
I run these in my scx6. Running 4 wheel steer with these monsters is the only way to go in an scx6. I like them so much that I just ordered 2 more for my new scx6 build.
Have a honcho and JLU and both have them. Really strong and quiet. Definitely get u one.
This is the servo I was looking for. Nice that it came with the direct power wire.
Reviewers widely praise the RS2500 V2's torque and speed, particularly in 1/6 scale SCX6 builds, with several reporting it moves heavy chassis or pushes rocks when run on 4S or direct power. Some note it needs a direct power wire or voltage regulator and centering before installation. A 2/5 review reports the servo does not fit a standard SCX6 mount without modification and uses a non-standard plug. Two reviews report reliability problems: one describes potentiometer slip under load requiring sub trim, and another reports two units failing with an unsatisfactory warranty experience. One review raises concern that many positive reviews are unverified, which this summary cannot assess. Most reviews are five-star and verified-owner reviews.
