These are the best plugs I use in my nitro engines (short plug). I have tuned hundreds of cars, helis, and planes, and this by far is the longest lasting, best performing plug I have ever come across. At the moment all the cars in my collection with short plug engines run the OS 8. The ones with a standard plug engines run OS LC3s. Buy with confidence.
I've never met an engine that wouldn't run with one of these. Cox 0.049? Throw an adapter on it, screw in an OS 8, and ittl run. Car engines? If they accept standard plugs, the OS 8 will work well. Plane engines? My 46AX runs an OS 8, OS 8s have run engines up to 30CC. They'd probably work in a four stroke but I don't have one to test! If you still run glow and are pondering glow plugs, get an OS 8. Your engine WILL run on this plug. If it doesn't, the problem isn't with the glow plug.
