About the Limited Edition Nekomata
Exclusive Collector Edition
Limited to only 1,000 units (000-999), each kit includes laser-etched artwork and a numbered upper deck plate, making it a true collector's piece. The preassembled roller chassis accommodates high-performance electronics, while invisible magnetic body mounts, a quick-release battery system, carbon fiber components, and realistic 6-spoke wheels combine convenience, durability, and standout style in one elite micro drift package.
Adjustable Dual-Scale Versatility
The Onisiki Limited Edition Nekomata 1/24 Electric Micro RWD Drift Roller with Wheels and Tires includes components to run both 1/24 and 1/28 scale bodies, featuring an adjustable 90-120mm wheelbase and tunable track width for maximum compatibility. Adjustable shock mounting positions and turnbuckles further refine setup, making it an incredibly versatile micro RWD drift platform.
Premium Drift Engineering
Its mid-motor layout, rotatable motor mount for center-of-gravity tuning, and rear ESC mount for optimized rear weight bias deliver balanced, controllable drift performance. Adjustable camber and caster, low-profile front arms with large steering angle, aluminum direct servo horn, and grease dampers ensure sharp response and predictable handling at high steering angles.
Superior Construction
Built from CNC-machined aluminum and carbon fiber, the chassis features aluminum bulkheads, gearbox, steering knuckles, rear hubs, chassis braces, and a hard-coated steel layshaft for strength and smooth power transfer via full ball bearings. Durable metal driveshafts, a lay-down cantilever front shock system, and a front bulkhead stiffener enhance rigidity and consistency under aggressive drifting.

Car was received in pieces due to set screws not being tightened. Lower arm pin and shims were small enough to fall out of the bottom of the box and were missing. Every ball end was over torqued from the manufacturer and stripped out. One ended up breaking and I ended up damaging the rear knuckle trying to remove the piece stuck inside the knuckle. Reports of missing servo mounts has also been pretty common. Overall I would not recommend this chassis unless you want to do a full rebuild and use higher quality hardware.
This chassis looks awesome. The laser etching is super cool. The other reviews are very true and more care could have been taken in assembling them. It’s an ok design but nothing special. To me this is a display piece that I can run a little in the house. The battery to purchase for this is the spectrum 300 mah with the PH 2.0 3 wire connector. You will need the USB charger for this as well. (If you go with the Furitek micro boost ESC). Plan on going over this whole chassis with blue or purple lock-tight. I had a few screws and pins fall out before I realized this. The rear wheels take a little fitting to not rub (annoying) as well. All that being said: the machined and chamfered aluminum is awesome. The adjustable length is nice as well. Cool car and really smooth once you dial it in.
This is annoyingly bad but there arent really any better options. The one Pro. Fun once you hunt down parts and get it working. This is extremely fun to drive around the house/office in areas to tight for 1/10. Cons. No batteries fit unless you add a spacer and longer screws. The rear lower control arms are held on by a pin that has no set screw and always falls out. The differential is completely open, i will need to rebuild to see why. No wheels on the market fit the rear. Every wheel besides onisiki wheels bind on the hub. Made specifically for mini z, yet it still struggles to fit the rear tires without using a dremel on the wheel arch. The narrowist settings still dont fully fit under the ae86, skyline, or rx7 bodies i tried. The motor sits too high for most miniz bodies. You will need to cut a hole in the back windows to fit. Moving the motor to the forward mounting position isnt possible with the short wheelbase. The second chassis i recieved was missing 3 of the 4 screws that hold the front half to the center plate, and there are no extras provided. The motor mount holds the motor too far away with the stock pinion to event make contact to the spur. 2 stars, but i still got 2 because its still fun
I was hoping for no issues based on reviews, but sure enough, I had a screw head break off before I even touched the car. Easy fix, but not something you should have to worry about.
mine is arrived but I couldn’t find the right battery to fit it. But the chassis looks awesome!
Reviewers agree the chassis looks attractive, with the laser etching and machined aluminium parts praised, and that it is fun to drive indoors in tight spaces. Assembly quality is the main recurring problem: several owners report set screws not tightened, small pins and shims missing from the box, over-torqued ball ends that stripped or broke, and a screw head snapping before use. Rear lower arm pins falling out, rear tyres rubbing or binding without modification, and difficulty finding a battery that fits are also mentioned. Opinions on the design range from 'nothing special' to 'the only real option' at this scale. One owner rated it 5/5 but had not yet run it, so ratings are mixed and the sample is small.

- + Fun to drive in tight indoor spaces
- − Missing or loose parts on arrival
