I bought the Harbor Tug because I needed a recovery boat for my FE boats. When I opened the box I was blown away. The scale detail is amazing. I just wish Proboat would offer deckhands to give it more realism.
This boat is really nice. It is a quiet workhorse that recovers with ease. Excellent detail everywhere. That being said $500 is a lot of money, I got it on sale for $300, well worth every penny.
I've wanted a boat for a while and when the horizon tug went on sale I knew it was now. It's a great boat for beginners definitely. I can't complain, the boat is better than I expected. Scale realism and is a functional rescue boat ,up to a 4foot boat! Even though it's 30 inches you can run this boat in the pool thanks to it's propulsion system or big lakes too. It also has running lights and lights on the mass that add to the experience . I'm older but not old I recommend this model for everyone.
Loving this tug. If you can afford it it’s the best boating retrieval method out there with out having your kayak with you all the time. Love the detail and scale. Never thought I’d be so fond of this tug and now it’s my favorite and I own 50+ mph boats. It’s so cool as a tug and rescue boat combined, thanks Proboat great idea!
Awesome looking and Functioning boat! The radio is very cheap though and should have came with a Spectrum radio option instead.
