Since this body is new and there are really no other options for the clip-less Slash ( outside the Traxxas bodies ), I thought I would buy one to see. First , I was surprised the body hardware mounting holes weren’t reamed out. It is dimpled as to where to locate the holes so no big deal there. Second, the protective film layer is thin and not attached to the edges of the body that well. I masked around the body to prevent overspray. Third, It paints up well! Four, the holes cut in the body are going serve two purposes, cut down the parachuting that affects SC trucks, cool the electronics on the 4wd as they are mounted inside the chassis. I will update at a later date when I have a few races on the body after I see how well it holds up comparatively. It is nice to finally have another option for Traxxas Slash 2 and 4wd trucks.
