Pro-Line 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Monster Truck Body (Clear) for Traxxas Maxx

I had high hopes for this body, but it ended up being one of the most frustrating A/M body shell purchase I’ve made. First, the body doesn’t mount properly on the Maxx. I spent far more time trying to get it to fit than I should have, and even after multiple adjustments, it never mounted properly even when having to bend a post side ways to get it to fit. Wish I could upload photos to show, but sadly they don’t allow this. Second, the decals don’t come pre-cut, which is disappointing considering the price. Cutting every decal by hand is time-consuming and makes it much harder to achieve a clean, factory-quality finish. If you’re new to the hobby, be aware you’ll also need to purchase tools like Lexan scissors, a body reamer, and other supplies since none of that is mentioned. That’s another $30+ on top of the cost of the body and mounting kit. The biggest issue is the body design itself. It doesn’t extend down over the battery tray and motor/ESC side, leaving the batteries, motor, and ESC far more exposed than the stock body. For a truck that’s designed to be bashed, this is a major design flaw and significantly reduces the protection these components should have. To make matters worse, customer service was extremely disappointing. Rather than addressing my concerns or offering a reasonable solution, I felt like they simply didn’t care. That experience alone was enough to make me think twice about buying from them again. Overall, the body looks fantastic in the product photos, but the poor fitment, uncut decals, lack of side protection, and disappointing customer support make it impossible for me to recommend. I definitely won’t be buying another one, and I hope this review helps others make an informed decision before spending their money.
