It comes with soft springs. The extra set of springs DO NOT match. Three of the springs measure .4 and the fourth one is .3. Makes a $45 set of shocks worthless.
I have always had excellent success with Proline shocks. For some reason they did not meet my expectations. Amain was quick to resolve the problem! 5 stars to Amain!
Shocks are good: much smoother than stock. They are the correct length for the ax24, however there is a slight loss of compression. One issue was that the included mounting screws are not long enough to pass through the shock eye and a frame rail. Unable to mount with included hardware. Grab some longer screws and they’re fine. Finding heavier (45+) weights work well with weighted builds.
Three reviews, with mixed results. One reviewer found the included springs soft and mismatched, with two measuring .4 and one .3, and rated the set poorly. Another reported the shocks are smoother than stock and the correct length for the AX24, though with a slight loss of compression. Both the 4/5 reviewer and the 1/5 reviewer note that the included mounting screws are too short to pass through the shock eye and frame rail, and longer screws resolved it. The 5/5 reviewer had an initial problem that the seller resolved quickly. The 4/5 reviewer suggests heavier 45+ weight springs work well with weighted builds.
