Great tires you'll love em! I would definitely suggest these if you're looking for something to upgrade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@@@@@@@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@!@!!!!!!
Good basher tires...just watch that bead. I blew one before the compound indicator wore off..maybe purchase some CA along with them just incase.
Great tires!! I'm running these on a stretched 6s Kraton and man do they rip!! I run these in sand, gravel and on the road. I've ran them multiple times on hard surfaces and they still look new. They aren't belted but they don't balloon a lot which is nice!
I rate Amin a 3 star , I rate the situation a 2 star. And Pro Line a 1 star. Here goes…… I purchased a 2 sets of badlands for my RC, 10 days shipping…. But I knew that….. installed them and one was wobbly…. Not just slightly…. It was so wobbly it made my RC undrivable. So I swapped it to the rear so I could at least rip it a couple times…. I took a video and contacted Amain, they were very understanding and two days later they sent out 2 more sets of badlands….i received the badlands two days latter, opened the first set and put the first on…… same problem….. so now I’m thinking….. it’s my RC…. So I got the second one ready and installed it…. Problem Resolved… so my conclusion is that out of six badlands , two were junk…. So I returned the unopened set and the wobbly set… shipping was $20 insured… so I lost $20 on something that was Not my fault. This definitely leaves a bad taste for pro line and AMain.
These are really great tires, but they go balloon a lot. Largely a matter of preference, but if you’re putting these on a 6s rc and intend to go above 50mph, I would probably go with the belted version. I have this set on a redcat machete and they really wake up the vehicle between the improved grip, increased ride height and with the machete specifically it improved the steering as well.
Reviewers generally rate these Pro-Line Badlands MX38 3.8" tires positively, praising their grip, durability on hard surfaces and performance on 6S setups, with one reviewer noting they perform well on a Redcat Machete. A recurring concern is bead integrity: one reviewer reported a bead issue and advised keeping cyanoacrylate glue on hand. Ballooning at high speed is mentioned, with one reviewer suggesting the belted version for runs above 50 mph. One verified buyer reported a wobbly tire on arrival that persisted across two replacement sets, ultimately resolved by a later set; the reviewer's conclusion about the cause is not clearly stated in the excerpt. Another reviewer found assembly difficult as a first-time user of this size and wanted an assembly picture. Reviews are few and mixed on fit and quality control.
- + Strong grip and performance
- + Durable on hard surfaces
- + Good for bashing
- + Improves vehicle handling
- − Bead may separate
- − Balloons at high speed
- − Wobbly tire on arrival
- − Difficult assembly without guide
