These wheels rip on any surface and you do need to buy 2x for 4 wheels total, but obviously these handle best on asphalt or rough concrete. Overall they are a lot of fun if you tend to take your mini out on flat surfaces and like to do trail-breaking and fast cornering. A bit pricey. Be warned though, the first time I took these out, my front right diff outdrive cup got sheared in half, but I had already seen online these are a common upgrades, and even before swapping to these wheels, the t-pins had already made grooves in all 4 cups. After getting new diff cups, I also upgraded to the reefs micro 99 servo with injora 25t servo saver, and steering feels a lot better and more responsive on high speed turns. Mainly the servo upgrade generally cures the issue of the stock servo losing center after a mild crash and having to retrim. I’m planning to upgrade to metal steering rack, the stock plastic is starting to feel a bit sloppy.
