Here is an example tailored tuning summary specifically for running the 1/10 Pro-Line Mirage TT Belted tires on the ARRMA Senton 223S 4x4: 1. Power Delivery & Electronics Leverage the SLT3 Throttle Limiter: Use the 50% / 75% / 100% switch on your Spektrum SLT3 transmitter to smooth out instant 2S/3S brushless torque when driving on loose dirt. Dial in Spektrum DSC (Dynamic Stability Control): Turn up the DSC gyro gain to level 2 (or 3) on your remote. This automatically counter-steers when the stiff Mirage TT tires break loose, helping keep the rear end behind you. 2. Drivetrain & Slipper Clutch Drop the center diff oil viscosity to 100k or 50k CST. The center diff fluid acts like mechanical traction control by transferring excess rear power to the front wheels. This simple tweak keeps the rear end planted and lets the front tires pull the truck straight out of corners on loose terrain. Thin Out Rear Diff Fluid: Drop the rear diff fluid to 7,000–10,000 CST. This lets the rear tires rotate independently in corners, preventing snap-oversteer when the rigid tires slide. 3. Suspension & Shocks Soften Rear Shock Oil: Stock Senton 223S rear shocks come packed with heavy ~500 cSt (~40wt) oil. Drop the rear oil to 300–400 cSt (30wt–35wt) to allow faster rear-end squat and weight transfer over the rear wheels under acceleration. Lower Rear Preload: Remove unnecessary preload clip-spacers on the rear shocks. Lowering the rear ride height slightly below parallel keeps the truck’s center of gravity low and helps force the flat tread face into the ground. 4. Geometry & Alignment Add Negative Rear Camber (-1.5° to -2°): Adjust your rear turnbuckles so the tops of the tires tilt slightly inward. As the Senton rolls in a turn, this forces the rigid tread surface to lay perfectly flat against the ground. Maintain 3° Rear Toe-In: Ensure your stock rear toe-in remains intact to push the tires inward against each other, maximizing straight-line tracking under throttle. 5. Tire Surface Prep Scuff the Tread Glaze: Gently rub 120-grit sandpaper over the brand-new M2 tread blocks to break the smooth, slick factory surface finish before your first pack. Soften the Rubber (Optional): Wipe the treads down with an RC tire sauce a few hours before driving to temporarily soften the stiff compound for extra mechanical bite.

These did not work well on my Senton. So little grip it had poor acceleration. I’m going back to the dboots it came with.
