Maybe because of it's color, but this is the only Proline color I had troubles getting to adhere to the body. Peels up along with the mask whether it's next to tape or liquid mask making this color impossible to do fine detail or using as trim.

All of this proline paint is fantastic! Water based and low voc is super awesome compared to solvent based paints. It’s just so much safer to use

Paint dry like rubber when opening. First time in my experience for many years of using proline paint.

What reviewers say

Three verified owners reviewed this 2oz metallic billet silver airbrush paint, with mixed results. Two low ratings describe adhesion problems: one reviewer reports paint peeling up with masking tape or liquid mask, making fine detail and trim work difficult, and another reports the paint drying like rubber when the bottle was opened. One five-star review praises the water-based, low-VOC formulation as safer than solvent paints, though it speaks about Pro-Line paints generally rather than this shade specifically. The reviews are few and contradictory, so the overall picture is uncertain.

  • + Water-based, low-VOC formulation
  • + Safer to use than solvent-based paints
  • − Peels up with masking tape or liquid mask
  • − Unsuitable for fine detail or trim work
  • − Dries like rubber when opened
