Nothing but a good experience with this paint. Goes on well, mixes well, dries quickly. My models look great.
After the paint had dried and the paint job looks good, the paint easily can be scratched off since I discovered the paint easily gets removed when placing the body on the car. I tested on one area the paint can be removed by my finger nail. I wish they still make paint like the old days, using oil based. That stuff is strong and sticks to the body and scratch test, you need strong force to scratch it. Thanks a lot EPA for making life hard.
This paint doesn’t adhere to lexan bodies. Easy to scratch off. It sprays on nice and there is a huge selection of colors. Not all colors are ready to spray I had to thin some. Honestly I wanted this to work but till I can find a solution to prevent scratching I don’t recommend buying it.
Don't buy this stuff. Like others said you can just scratch it off with your fingernail. Wasted a whole Saturday
I found these paints to be VERY thin. Took many MANY coats to get a satisfactory coat. Looked good when done, but man, that was a LOT of coats! (and a lot of airbrush cleaning in between coats.) Think I put about 5-6 coats on the car, and did a 3 color paint job that took just as many days! lol
Reviewers are divided. Two positive reviews describe the paint as easy to spray, mixing well, drying quickly and giving good results. Most critical reviews report that the paint scratches off easily, including with a fingernail, and one reports it had not fully dried after several weeks. Several reviewers also found the paint very thin, requiring five or six coats for full coverage. One reviewer notes some colours needed thinning before spraying. Adhesion to Lexan bodies is the main recurring complaint.
