These are great looking tires and seem to be well made, but I'm dissapointed in the performance on my Rustler 4x4 VXL. They don't really grip as well as advertised. I tried them both on-road and off-road and they do decent on pavement and hard packed dirt, but for grass, and loose terrain, the Rustler 4x4 stock tires hook up much better than these. They seem like a little bit better quality rubber than the stock tires, but I don't feel like they are a performance upgrade. I wish I would have got the regular trenchers, instead of the low profile version.
I just put this on my Traxxas Rustler after shredding 3 of the stock tires and they are a big improvement. Not necessarily in terms of traction but because they hold up to the abuse. I didn't notice any ballooning, which is what leads to the failure. I was advised by my shop to install these and I'm glad I did.
