About this part
This is the ProTek R/C "Supreme Power" 3S 2200mAh, 35C Lithium Polymer battery pack. This lightweight 35C Li-Poly battery pack was developed specifically as a high quality power source for the ProTek Blue Flame engine heater (PTK-4050). Plus, this light weight battery pack delivers true 35C discharge and 2200mAh capacity, and features a T-Style connector installed on 12awg wire for an ultra low resistance connection, with a 4-pin XH type balance connector, making it an excellent option for compatible helicopters and airplanes!
Unlike most other Lithium Polymer batteries, these batteries can be charged at up to 2 times the rated current, or 2C! If your charger is capable, you can charge these batteries at 4.4A!

Includes:
- (1) ProTek R/C Battery w/T-Style Lead
IMPORTANT:
1) DO NOT leave the battery in your model when charging
2) DO NOT leave unattended when charging
3) ALWAYS balance charge the battery
4) ALWAYS use a LiPo charging bag
5) YOU MUST use a Li-Poly specific charger to charge the pack (NiMH or NiCD only chargers WILL NOT WORK!)
6) YOU MUST not over discharge the Li-Poly battery pack
7) READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions carefully before operating this battery
NOTE: When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in over heated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell) Do not use the battery that has too low a voltage.
Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at the temperature above 35°C or in a closed car. The high temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging or racing, do not charge the battery until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.

I've got this in an SCX10, battery forward, and it does good. Lasts roughly an hour with a RC4WD 45T. It's a nice light battery, so even though it's up high, its minimal.
First one expanded when I was charging it but I had a full use of it. I'd use it multiple times before charging. Then they sent me a replacement and it was only good for one use. I kept it on my CS engine block heater twice, 10 minutes each and then I'd check the voltage every use. The second time I checked it, it was done.
DO NOT BUY!!! This battery is Terrible for use with the nitro engine head heater. 1st, it only lasts for 2 heat cycles before having to charge it again. 2nd, it's a soft battery which I have come to dislike very much. And finally, the cells have gone way out of balance 3 times now! And I have to leave on my balancer pretty much all day to get it balanced out again.
I purchased this battery as my previous battery was a little too large for the battery tray in my axial bomber. I was pleasantly surprised that this battery provides more than ample run times and performance in such a smallish form factory. Fits in my axial bomber easy with room to spare.
I find this brand to ve excellent, i have been ill & unable to play, yet all of tgese batteries been sitting for over 2 yrs & none have puffed at all fully charged unlike all my Traxxas & Team Orion batteries & for crawling they are lighter than the others & top mounted give little issues these are best overall under these circumstances.
Reviewers are split on this 3S 2200mAh LiPo used for engine heaters and RC crawlers. Several praise its light weight, compact fit in tight battery trays, and adequate run times, including about an hour in an SCX10 with a 45T motor. Others report poor performance with a nitro engine heater: one lasted only two heat cycles, another found it soft-feeling, and one reported cells going out of balance repeatedly. One reviewer reported a replacement unit was also short-lived, and another reported a cell puffing during charging. A long-term storage report noted no puffing. Sample size is small and the reviews conflict.
- + Light weight
- + Compact fit in tight battery trays
- + Adequate run time in crawler use
- + No puffing after long storage
- − Short life with engine heater
- − Cells going out of balance
- − Puffing during charging reported
- − Soft feel
