ProTek RC 5x10x4mm Rubber Sealed "Speed" Bearing (10)
About this part
These 5x10x4mm rubber sealed bearings are the standard bearing for the 1/8th scale nitro clutches. Some racers prefer the rubber sealed bearings for better protection against dirt for their clutch. Please check the manual that came with your vehicle for the correct size if you are not certain.
These are also used as wheel bearings in the Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 1/10th scale 4WD electric buggy.

10 bearings for a dollar each!? These are ideal for race days, New set in the morning for the qualifiers and a new set in the afternoon for the final/mains. Clutch bearings are consumable and these hit the mark for the right quality at the right price. Why pay more?
These bearings came with the ProTek clutchbells I use and I was impressed with the quality. Much better than other $1 bearings with the exception of the Boca brand. They fit perfectly on the crankshaft, a big issue with other bearings of lesser quality and the seem to be sealed a little better too, and come full of grease like I prefer. I can clean these bearings after a raceday, re-oil them and get at least another raceday out of them if not two. A big difference from the others I've used.
Great set of bearing for the buck! Change your bearings at each 1 gallon and have no problem.
if your clutch bell is aligned right on the spur gear these will last a gallon easy. i put a drop of 3n1 between races just so they don't get corroded at all. i only change them when i can't remember how long they have been in there.
I was blowing heaps of these. Went to the TKO ones and no more problems. You can see the difference, the cheap ones the balls only just go half way around the race. The tko there are balls all the way around the race.
Reviewers largely praise these ten-pack 5x10x4mm rubber sealed clutch bearings for their low price and durability, with several reporting one to several gallons of fuel per set and comparing favourably with other budget bearings. Some note they are rubber sealed and fit well on the crankshaft, and that performance depends on clutch alignment and clutch play setup. Opinions diverge sharply: a few reviewers report bearings failing quickly, one after about seven tanks of fuel, and one reports the balls not rolling fully around the race. Reviewers mention the Boca and TKO brands as comparisons. Reviews also show an off-topic question about compatibility with a Mugen MBX6 and a very brief review with no detail.
