The standard wheel (PTK-2750) offers a concave outer face with integrated internal support ribs adding rigidity for better control on smooth, high speed tracks. In contrast the "Light Weight" wheels remove the internal ribs for a sleek smooth look, reducing any chance of mud packing up during wet track conditions. With the absence of the internal ribs these wheels are also more flexible keeping your buggy planted through bumpy or choppy sections of the track.
