Been in and out of the hobby since the 2000’s and I finally used up all my old antenna tubes. These will be the perfect replacement! Good thing about modern radios is that you barely need any tube so this one pack will last quit a while!
I've bought these before and they were fine. However, the last pack that I received was smaller in diameter than normal. They are loose fitting in the mounts and even the caps aren't snug. Perhaps they received a batch of tubing that is wrong.
Good price, good quality tubes, great value. Diameter was a little small so took a minute to push the antenna wire through.. using it on a 1/10 HPI Sprint. Arrived earlier than expected.
Reviewers generally rate the ProTek RC Antenna Tube w/Caps (Black) (5) well, with two of three giving five stars. Buyers describe the tubes as good quality, good value, and quick to arrive, and one notes they are a suitable replacement for older antenna tubes. The main recurring issue is fit: two reviewers mention the tube diameter being smaller than normal, with one finding it loose in mounts and the caps not snug, and the other needing extra effort to thread antenna wire through. One reviewer observed that modern radios need little tube, so a single pack lasts a long time. The reviews are few, and the fit concern is raised by only two buyers, one of whom had prior good experience with this product.
